Viewer's Guide: Short Track Super Series Sunshine Swing
With snow on the ground and cold temperatures in the air, Northeast Dirt Modified teams are leaving it all behind and heading south to kick off the 2023 racing season in the Sunshine State. First up will be four nights of racing at All-Tech Raceway for the stars of the popular Short Track Super Series.
The Short Track Super Series is a Dirt Modified touring series that will be celebrating its 10th anniversary season in 2023. Brett Deyo -- who also promotes Fonda Speedway, Utica-Rome Speedway, Georgetown Speedway and now Delaware International Speedway -- is the owner and promoter of the Short Track Super Series.
Since its inception in 2014, the popularity of the series has rapidly increased as a result of growing car counts and lucrative purses.
The series features a North Region, South Region and Cajun Region, as well as the Short Track Super Series Elite program that includes five big-money events. Additionally, the series has a 602 Sportsman division for both the North Region and South Region.

Three years ago, the series decided to extend beyond its Northeast routes and travel to Florida during the month of February. Since that inaugural Sunshine Swing, the Short Track Super Series has made the trip to Florida during four consecutive winters.
All-Tech Raceway has been the home for the Short Track Super Series Sunshine Swing for all but one year. In 2021, the series contested three races at Bubba Raceway Park before returning to All-Tech for last year's event.
