This is either a clever life hack, or the most disturbing thing you’ll ever hear about your grandparents.

Supposedly, Seniors at a retirement community in Florida are supposedly tying LOOFAHS to the tops of their cars to let people know they’re SWINGERS. A thread has been going strong on Redditt ever since a TikTok video went viral.

CAUTION, here's how it works: Different colors of loofahs are supposed to mean different things. A purple loofah on your roof rack means you like to watch. And a teal loofah means you swing both ways. A yellow loofah means you want to have fun, but you’re still a little nervous. A white loofah means you’re a novice, or a beginner.

Not everyone's convinced it's really a thing though. Seniors ARE tying loofahs to their cars, but there's an innocent explanation.

It's not because they’re senior swingers, it’ "so they can find their car. All the retirees drive similar cars and old gran can't go around the whole parking lot looking for her car," a redditor said. "The loofa is an easy way for them to spot it from a distance. Trust me all the people I have met are definitely not swingers as most the can barely stand without assistance.'"

But others are skeptical. One person joked: ‘Just because they can't walk doesn't mean they can't "swing."‘

A barman at a restaurant in The Villages told DailyMail.com in 2014: ‘I was paid $100 for three hours work at a swingers party in a private house. ‘Two of the men approached me and asked if I’d be interested bar tending. They told me there’d be things going on I might not want to see. ‘Trust me – having worked the party before things got too hot and heavy – there are things I am trying to forget already."

If this is true, I can only imagine it's happening everywhere – even in Las Vegas!
