New video appears to show the moment that a guest at Disneyland Resort in California hopped out of their log while on the Splash Mountain ride after suffering a panic attack. Someone else on the ride who was in another log caught the moment on video.
ANAHEIM, Ca. - A Disneyland guest in California jumped out of a log while on the iconic Splash Mountain ride after suffering a possible panic attack, video posted to social media appears to show.
The video was recently posted on TikTok and Instagram by user, @fantimamusic786, and later shared with FOX 35 News.
"Oh my gosh!," someone says in the video from another one of the ride's log vehicles, followed by another person asking, "what are you doing?"
As the camera pans, it showed a girl – who was presumably on the log in front of them – suddenly out of the log and walking alongside one of the ride's pathways and down a set of stairs. FOX 35 has edited the video to blur the woman's face.
"I can't! I'm about to have a panic attack," the girl responds.
In messages on Instagram, Fatima told FOX 35 that the incident happened on Sunday, May 29, which was the last weekend that Splash Mountain would be open at Disneyland before closing to be transformed into "Tiana's Bayou Adventure."
"Shocked, confused, and worried," Fatima said she felt in the middle. "I was concerned if she was okay and where she was going."
"We only went to the park that day to get one last ride on Splash Mountain. It definitely turned into a moment I will never forget," she wrote.
FOX 35 has reached out to Disneyland for comment.
The video then cuts to the moment the ride seemingly came to a halt, shortly before the ride's final big drop. Guests could be seen patiently waiting on the stalled ride as the attraction's music continued to play. Written along the video was a caption that read: STUCK!! I don't even know how long we were there!"
Eventually, the ride began again.
