‘911 Lone Star’ Season 4 Spoilers: Judd and Grace, Tarlos Wedding
By Matt Webb Mitovich / March 21 2023, 1:26 PM PDT
Who's dropping bombshells on 9-1-1: Lone Star? What other role will Max Thieriot be playing on Fire Country? Will Walker spinoff take a cue from Supernatural? Read on for answers to those questions plus scoop on many other shows. (You can and should email any brand-new Qs to [email protected].)
Will we see any more of Judd's son on 9-1-1: Lone Star? –BethWyatt will next be seen in the episode slated to air on Tuesday, April 4, when he surprises Judd and Grace with not one, but two, life-altering announcements. Bonus Scoop: Grace's parents are due to soon return, setting the stage for her to finally confront Dad about his adultery….
Will we see any aftermath for 9-1-1: Lone Star‘s Carlos after he was held captive earlier this season? –SarahIt (thankfully) appears that Carlos has fully recuperated from that near-death situation, but… that doesn't mean there won't be more bumps on the road to the Tarlos wedding.
I have a question about Superman & Lois Season 3. What can you tell us about Jonathan's storyline this season? –BenIn this week's episode, Jonathan encounters someone from his past — and it leads to a confrontation. And based purely on my own personal reading-between-the-lines, I suspect that said encounter is setting the stage for something bigger.
I know Max Thieriot loves to direct — he directed some of my favourite episodes of SEAL Team — so I was curious if will he be directing an episode of Fire Country? –DemarYour timing is on fire! As we speak, Thieriot is directing an episode that is on track to air Friday, April May 12, in which the crews are called to put out a backfire that was started by a private firefighting company to protect a client's high-end winery.
Is there any chance that Batwoman will pop up on The Flash again before the season is over? –ClaryJavicia Leslie has said "the door is always open," and maybe if Ryan does figure into the series-ending battle, she won't be alone next time. As Leslie shared with TVLine, "there was talk" of Camrus Johnson reprising his own Batwoman role of Luke Fox aka Batwing alongside her in the episode "The Mask of the Red Death, Part Two,""but I think that it did not work for everyone's schedule."
Any news on Invitation to a Bonfire‘s search for a new home? –SamI am hearing that the Tatiana Maslany-led book adaptation, which had filmed four of six episodes before AMC pulled the plug, is still in the new home-hunting process.
What's going to happen with Criminal Minds: Evolution‘s Will? Didn't the season end with him still sick? –DeeInterestingly, Will's cancer scare was inspired by a similar ordeal that cast member A.J. Cook's real-life husband Nathan went through in 2019. "It's based on a true-life illness that we wanted to honor," showrunner Erica Messer told me. "We wanted to plant that seed now." Luckily for Will, it turned out he only had a treatable, inflamed thyroid, so "next year, hopefully, he's going to be OK," said Messer. "But he's not necessarily out of the woods forever."
Any updates on when Disney+'s Eragon show starts casting or filming? — KoSI sniffed around, and… nope! Nothing to share just yet.
Any updates on Slasher S5 (on Shudder) or Creepshow S4 (on AMC)? The last seasons of each came in 2021, so it would be nice to hear when the new seasons are coming. –John As you may have heard since shooting us this email, Slasher: Ripper will premiere Thursday, April 6 on Shudder and AMC+. There is no status update at this time for Creepshow, however.
As much as I enjoyed the most recent episode of Ghosts, it did leave us with the cliffhanger from the previous episode, where Nigel and Nancy caught Trevor and Hetty in the basement. How long until Nigel and Nancy reveal what they saw? Or until we find out how Hetty and Trevor got them to stay quiet? –KarenNigel will disclose precisely what he has "set" his mind on in the Thursday, March 30 episode — and I have to say that as a blackmailer, he becomes 100% more amusing of a character. But as Nigel puts the squeeze on Hetty and Trevor, the question of why exactly they’ve been cavorting in secret comes to the fore, causing more than a little commotion.
Can I get a (U.S.) Ghosts spoiler? –LindseyThis very horny season will see yet another romance threaten to spark in the same episode teased above.
Any scoop on either of the Walker shows? –MorganIf the Walker Independence prequel spinoff gets renewed, Season 2 might include a nod to executive producer Jared Padalecki's previous series. "I had a lot of ideas early on of, like, an entire episode from the point of view of a horse, as kind of an homage to Supernatural and the car," showrunner Seamus Kevin Fahey tells TVLine, referencing the classic Supernatural episode "Baby." "I’m a big film geek, and there's this Robert Bresson movie Au Hasard Balthazar, an entire movie from the point of view of a mule," Fahey continues. "So I think it would be interesting to pull off, at least for an act — and it doesn't get more Western than that."
Daphne, ‘The Company You Keep’
Any scoop on The Company You Keep? –Dre"Things are really going to come to a head" between CIA officer Emma and criminal mastermind Daphne in this Sunday's episode, says Catherine Haena Kim, who plays Emma. "By the end of it, they’re going to do a really crazy 180. So you’ll definitely see more of their relationship unfold."
I’ve been loving True Lies, which reminds me of the old USA Network shows. Any scoop to share? –T.C.In Episode 6 (airing March 29), there's a stunt that showrunner Matt Nix (formerly of Burn Notice, natch) says people are going to think is CGI, but in fact is nearly 100% practical. "Steve Howey is in the shot watching this car as it lands and explodes, and it all happens with Steve Howey on-screen," Nix shared with TVLine (see a screenshot above). "He was really there, there's a guy in the car, and the whole thing happened in real time. We erased a ramp — that's it." In total, Nix says, "There's [computer-generated effects] in the show, but… all of the stunts are real. When Harry jumps from car to car [in a chase scene], that's Steve Howey jumping from car to car with a harness on. We erase the harness, but that's him doing his own stunt."
I was sure I had read somewhere that Fox's Crime Scene Kitchen was coming back. Do you know if we’re getting a new season? –LeahWe are, and the smart money says you will (finally!) see it emerge from that slowly rotating, dry ice-filled chamber this summer.
