Princess Eugenie has given birth to a baby boy named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank.
The Princess said that her second child was named after the Duchess of York's father, Ronald, his grandfather, George, as well as his great-great-great-grandfather, also named George. She revealed that Ernest was born at 8.49am on May 30, weighing 7lbs 1oz.
She posted two sweet snaps of the newborn to Instagram on Monday afternoon (June 5) and showed him wearing a knitted blue-and-white hat, asleep in a Moses basket, and one of older son August tenderly stroking his brother's head. Beside the snaps, proud mum Eugenie, wrote: "Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs.

"He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George, and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already."
The new arrival is 13th in line to the throne moving the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward down to 14th place. He is a third grandchild for Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
The newborn is also a 13th great-grandchild of the late Queen - and is the first one to be born since her death last September. He will not receive a title or HRH status as he is not a grandchild of the current monarch King Charles, who is his great uncle.
The arrival marks the first royal child to be born since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and came in the same month as the King's Coronation.
The Princess announced her pregnancy in January in an Instagram post where she said: "We're so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer."
Buckingham Palace also issued a statement confirming the news of Princess Eugenie's pregnancy and said the family were "delighted" to welcome their second child.
The statement read: "Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer. The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother."
The Princess gave birth to her first son, August, at the Portland Hospital in central London in Feb 2021.
