Baby, five others killed as truck hits tricycle, motorcycle in Isabela

Six people, including a six-month old baby, were killed after a trailer truck hit a tricycle and a motorcycle in Tumauini, Isabela.

According to a report on "Balitang Amianan", the fatalities were identified as Ernesto Caronan, 71; Elma Caronan, 64; Arnel Menor,37; Diana Rose Menor, 36; Kudip Singh, 38; and Prince Adrian, 6 months old.

Singh was the driver of the motorcycle.

The truck driver, Oliver Zamora, was reported injured.

Initial investigation showed that the motorcycle and tricycle were cruising in the same direction when the truck went into their lane.

Zamora was reported under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened.
